The TeraFlex 1863910 HD Chromoly Tie Rod Kit is engineered to withstand the extreme conditions and abuse that often lead to failure in factory steering components, particularly on lifted JL Wrangler/Unlimited models. This robust tie rod kit enhances the durability and performance of your vehicle's steering system, making it a must-have for off-road enthusiasts. 

Installation of the TeraFlex HD Chromoly Tie Rod Kit (# 1863910) is straightforward and requires no cutting or removal of factory bracketry. The kit is constructed from HD 1-5/8" O.D. 4140 heat-treated chromoly steel, making it over 200% stronger than the factory tie rod. The forged tie rod housing is designed for the JL Wrangler/Unlimited, ensuring a precise fit and superior strength. The tie rod end joint incorporates the same advanced features in TeraFlex ball joints, including a 4140 chromoly ball/stud and 1045 carbon steel housing. It also features an adjustable rod end preload tension to ensure long-term durability. The joint is securely pressed into the rod end housing and held in place with a snap ring, and its rotation is limited to 14 degrees of movement to minimize tie rod roll. Additionally, the tie rod provides ample clearance for factory 17" wheels.

The Steering Stabilizer Relocation Mount Bracket Kit is designed to fit the heavy-duty 1-5/8" tie rod. Made from 6061-T6 aluminum and featuring a forged 10.9-grade stud, this kit moves the steering stabilizer up nearly 2.5 inches, reducing the risk of damage to the stabilizer shaft or body. It also repositions the stabilizer to minimize tie rod roll associated with stabilizer misalignment, enhancing your steering system's overall stability and performance.
