Sway bar lowering kits attach to the frame of your vehicle to lower the mounting point where the sway bar attaches to the frame. If you lift your truck 4 inches, you will most likely want to use a sway bar lowering kit. If you go 6 inches or higher, you will have to use a sway bar drop kit or your sway bar won't be able to connect to the frame. They are made of steel and include the necessary mounting hardware for installation on lifted vehicles.
