Bypass technology in BP-51 coilovers provides an additional fluid flow path around the piston, allowing the shock to adapt to different driving conditions. This design offers a smoother, more comfortable ride during normal driving, while increasing control on rough terrain by generating more damping at the ends of the stroke to absorb larger impacts and prevent harsh bottoming out.

With external on-vehicle rebound and compression adjustments, these bypass-style coilovers allow you to fine-tune ride comfort and control based on your vehicle’s load, terrain, or trip requirements. Damping increases near the end zones, providing enhanced control during full compression and extension while maintaining ride comfort at standard height.
