Lexus Icon 2.5 Series Coilovers

Adjustable Ride Height: All Icon Coilovers have the ability to increase the front ride height of your vehicle by approximately 0 to 3 inches (depending on the vehicle). This can be done before or after installation with the use of an Icon spanner wrench. Making the coilovers a great alternative to a traditional leveling kit that uses a strut spacer.

Types of Icon 2.5 Coilovers

Icon coilovers are available in four different configurations: 2.5 IR (internal reservoir), 2.5 RR (Remote Resi), 2.5 RR CDCV Adjustable Ride and 2.5 RR CDEV Electronic Adjustable Ride. These options cover most driving styles and needs. All feature 2.5-inch diameter 6061 aluminum bodies with vehicle-specific (VS) valving.

2.5 IR (Internal Reservoir): This aluminum body shock features an internal reservoir that combines with the large 2.5-inch diameter body for excellent performance in off-road conditions while maintaining a smooth ride on the street

2.5 RR Reservoir: These piggyback reservoir (mounted directly on the shock body) and remote reservoir (connected with a hose) significantly increase oil capacity for even greater dampening ability. This is essential if you frequently push your suspension to the limit when towing or off-roading.

2.5 Reservoir with CDCV: The CDCV (compression damping control valve) shocks feature a 10-position knob that is attached to each reservoir which gives you the ability to adjust the ride quality from soft to firm. When going from highway to off-road conditions, this is an excellent feature for when your vehicle's dampening requirements change.

2.5 Reservoir with CDEV: CDEV (compression damping electronic valve) Coilovers are a high-tech suspension upgrade. They electronically control damping by regulating the flow of oil through the valve. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and have the ability to make exact adjustments for varying terrain.
