Replace damaged tie rod dust boots without having the expense of buying an entire new tie rod! Torn rubber boots expose the ball joint causing wear and poor suspension alignment. If the tie rods are worn, you should replace with new tie rod ends and vehicle alignment will be necessary.

All boots have a 5 Point Sealing Action, which not only prevents loss of tie rod lubricant but also inhibits contamination (the major cause of rod wear)!

Fitment Instructions:
1. The rod end must measure at least the minimum dimensions shown below or larger. Approximates will do because of the elasticity of the product. The boot will seal better when it stretches over a larger dimension tie rod.
2. In some cases you need to insert a thin, not sharp, object under the lip of the boot to pull over area "B" of the tie rod end.
3. Remember, choose the part number that has the dimensions closest to the vehicle's, yet it must measure larger than the minimums of the measurements.

Measurements (see diagram to the right):
- Dimension A: 9/16" or .562" or 14mm
- Dimension B: 1-7/16" or 1.437" or 36.5mm
