12" 2020-2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD Elite Lift Kit (w/Elka 2.5 Resi Shocks) by Cognito

Cognito's 210-P1178 12-inch Elite lift kit for the GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 2WD/4WD includes premium Cognito components, providing a comprehensive and reliable solution for fitting larger-diameter tires (up to 40-inch diameter) for a more aggressive look and improved off-road performance.

Cognito components are engineered, manufactured, and assembled in the USA, ensuring top-notch quality. The Cognito Lift Kit is designed to deliver superior ride quality and corrected CV joint angles for enhanced vehicle handling. This kit features an integrated skid plate that securely connects the front and rear cross members, providing exceptional front-end rigidity. Custom-fabricated spindles (steering knuckles) will correct steering geometry.

In the rear, Deaver brand leaf springs replace the rear lift OEM springs, providing 4 inches of lift while maintaining excellent ride quality. This is achieved through high-quality spring steel construction with a higher leaf count for a more compliant ride. A 5-inch rear block kit is included for a total of 9-inches in the rear lift.

The Cognito Ball Joint SM Series Upper Control Arms enhance style, function, and performance by correcting the ball joint angle for lifted and leveled applications. This adjustment improves droop travel, leading to a smoother ride. The control arms are constructed from boxed sheet metal, CNC robot welded, and finished with a semi-gloss black powder coating. The kit includes ball joints, new crush sleeves, and polyurethane bushings.

The Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit (PISK) addresses long-standing steering system issues in Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs. This innovative, patented design provides additional support to the pitman and idler arms, eliminating the center link's forward and rearward movement, which enhances overall steering stability.

The ELKA 2.5 Shocks feature 2.5-inch-diameter bodies of hard-anodized aluminum for cooler dampening. They come equipped with Dual-Speed Compression adjustment, allowing precise fine-tuning for better vibration attenuation and cabin noise reduction. These shocks are optimized for both on-road and off-road conditions, providing smoother rides, more stable handling, and reduced front-end dives during braking or cornering. They also improve rear-end stability when towing or carrying loads.
