Tie-Rod:  The Tie-Rod is made from Heat-Treated 4140 steel and coated with a Moly coating. At the core of the Inner Tie-Rod assembly lies a ball joint featuring meticulously machined grease grooves and a passageway to the zerk fitting hole for effortless lubrication.

Inner Tie-Rod Assembly: The Inner Tie Rod Assembly offers simplicity, exceptional strength, and complete adjustability and rebuildability. The Tie-Rod is surrounded by Bronze wear surfaces on both of its sides. The moly-based coating on the tie-rod seamlessly blends with the redline CV2 grease, creating an ideal lubricant to refine the 4140 steel against the bronze races. Should you detect any noticeable play, simply tighten the cap to eliminate the slack!

Outer Tie-Rod Assembly: The outer tie-rod end is meticulously crafted from a solid block of 6061 Billet Aluminum. This rod-end undergoes the same hard-anodizing treatment as the upper control arms. The outer tie-rod end connects to the threaded tie-rod through precisely machined threads and is securely held in place, allowing for toe alignment adjustments, thanks to the two pinch bolts. The pinch bolt hardware features 12-point design and threads into replaceable press-fit steel inserts, ensuring exceptional strength, especially when compared to the relatively small diameter of aluminum threads.

The bearing assembly incorporates a CUB (Captured Urethane Bearing) joint. At its core lies a 3/4″ Teflon Lined FK bearing designed to dampen vibrations and extend the lifespan of the heim. This assembly is preloaded within the housing and retained under tension using a safety washer and snap-ring for added security. Carli has introduced a billet machined bracket to provide double-shear support for the outer tie-rod end connection. The rod-end itself is positioned between this bracket and the knuckle, with the help of the included 17-4 Stainless Steel misalignment spacers, maximizing the system's travel range.
