The BDS Suspension BDS1561FPE 7 inch lift kit is a high-end premium lift for your Ford F250 / F350 4wd truck to allow for use of up to 38 inch diameter tires. Built around Fox 2.5 Performance Elite remote reservoir coil-overs and heavy duty radius arms that use 1-3/4" OD -10GA DOM tubing with support gussets. These replacement arms are far superior to the factory stamped steel units. Featuring a high clearance design for extra ground clearance and are formed inward to allow for additional clearance of oversized tires. The arms correct the caster angle by bolting into the factory mounting points and reposition the front axle. The included Fox 2.5 Performance Elite remote reservoir coil-overs with DSC (dual speed compression) adjustability, replace the factory coil springs. All required brackets and hardware are included for the suspension conversion. These Fox coil-overs give unmatched suspension performance for on and off-road usage. A forged drop pit man arm corrects steering angles along with a supplied integrated drag link flip. The front axle remains centered with the use a of 1/4" thick heavy duty track bar drop bracket. Also included for the front suspension are a pair of sway bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, brake line relocation brackets and a NX2 series steering stabilizer with mounting bracket. In the rear the factory blocks are replaced by a pair of lift blocks that feature integrated bump stop wings along with e-coated extended u-bolts. Features and Benefits

| Important Notes
1. Fits Diesel models only. 2. Ford recommends replacement of the pitman arm nut after each time it has been removed. 3. Use a small pitman arm puller to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper. 4. If your truck is equipped with a factory rear sway bar add: BDS123808 5. If your truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402. 6. Due to taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net full advertised lift height. Final ride height will be the same as standard models. 7. Larger tires on stock wheel are not recommended due to brake line clearance required. Use recommended specs listed in wheel and tire fitment section. 8. The indexing ring is only compatible with 10 speed transmission trucks. Please verify your truck's equipment before installing. Transfer case indexing ring will not fit 6.2L vehicles equipped with the 6R100 transmission. 9. Indexing Ring has NOT been designed to work on manual shift transfer case models. Modification to the shift cable mount will be required. 10. Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs. 11. Some trucks with a rear driveline vibration may have a recall from Ford regarding the rear axle. (Safety Recall 21S31) Due to the recall procedure, BDS recommends to have this performed prior to installing the lift. 12. Due to factory ride heights being lower on 2020 and newer model year trucks, the net lift you will gain with this kit will be 1" more than advertised. (EX. 4" kit will net 5" of lift) |
